Today I went to The London Textiles Fair on behalf of Mod Dolly where I'm currently interning (and loving it!)
This was a completely new experience for me. I've never done anything to do with Fashion Buying before so didn't know what to expect. The room was full of stands from different textile company's and Fashion Buyers for Designers bulk buying from these companies. My Task was to find textile companies suitable to Mod Dolly's brand and ask questions about the fabrics, price list, minimal order, take samples of fabrics and catalogues to bring back to my designer etc, basically be a Fashion Buyer for the day! I really enjoyed it.
