Finished my 1940's inspired tailored jacket!

For my 1st project as a 2nd year student in university, we were given a tailoring project which I chose the 1940's as my key inspiration. Throughout the project I looked at the large reverse and the strong shoulder silhouette details which this jacket has a high 3cm shoulder pad in both sides. During my design development, the crop silhouette was chosen as well as two jet pockets and a 2.5cm button. The strong shoulder is a power statement, which the colour red links with very well. My colour palette for my collection consisted of red, brown, grey, white and black.
I'm very happy with it's outcome and cannot wait to wear it!

Edwina Scissorhands

I thought Halloween would be an interesting way to develop my fashion illustrations and get more people to discover them therefore I've asked people to send me their Halloween Outfits for me to illustrate! I thought Edwina Scissorhands was a really cool and interesting costume to illustrate. With this one I practised a new facial expression and stand. Hope you like it!
